Set it up once. That's it.
Most adhan apps play on the phone's own small speaker. AdhanSync plays it on your Nest speakers, so the whole home hears it.
Set your home
Use your location or search for your city. Prayer times are worked out for your home and stay fixed when you travel.
Pick your masjid
Optional. Choose it from a worldwide list. When it shares its timetable, the adhan follows your masjid's times.
Pick your speakers
The app finds your Nest speakers on your home Wi-Fi. Play a test, and from then on the adhan plays on its own.
Built for real homes
Accurate times, the right room, and you always know it's working.
The right room
Fajr softly in the kitchen, the rest everywhere. Choose speakers and volume for each prayer, or turn a prayer off.
Accurate times, worldwide
The standard calculation for your country, or your masjid's own timetable once it shares it. The app always shows the source.
Your choice of muezzin
17 adhan voices, from Makkah, Madinah and Al-Aqsa to Abdul Basit. Add the dua after the adhan, and Surah Al-Kahf on Friday.
Ready for Ramadan
Ramadan days follow your masjid's announcement, and Maghrib plays as the iftar adhan.
Tells you if something's wrong
If an adhan doesn't play, you get an alert on your phone. Silence means it's working.
Free, for the sake of Allah
No ads, no subscription, no sign-in, and your data is never sold. Any donations go to keeping it running and to helping people in need.
Bring your adhan into your community's homes
Your congregation hears the adhan at your times, not a calculation that's a few minutes off.
- Send your monthly timetable as a spreadsheet. We handle messy formats.
- Add iqama and Jumu'ah times and the app shows them too.
- Every family that picked your masjid switches to your times automatically.
- We remind you before your timetable runs out, so nobody falls back to calculated times.
Your masjid is probably already listed
AdhanSync lists more than 100,000 masjids around the world. Families find yours by name during setup.
Mention AdhanSync after Jumu'ah, in your newsletter or on your website.
Questions
Which speakers does it work with?
Google Nest and Google Home speakers, Nest Hub displays, and other speakers with Chromecast built-in. You need an Android phone for the app.
Does my phone need to be at home?
Yes. Google doesn't let outside servers start Nest speakers, so your phone starts the adhan over your home Wi-Fi. Keep one phone at home, on Wi-Fi and charged. A spare phone on a charger works well. If an adhan doesn't play, you get an alert.
Where do the prayer times come from?
Your masjid's timetable when it has shared one. Otherwise the standard calculation method for your country. The app always shows which source it's using.
What happens when I travel?
Your home location stays fixed, so the times don't change. The adhan plays at home whenever the phone that runs it is there on Wi-Fi.
Does it cost anything?
No. AdhanSync is free, with no ads and no subscription, and it always will be.
My masjid isn't listed. What can I do?
Use calculated times for now, and email info@adhansync.com with your masjid's name and city.
